Astronomy:UNCOVER
From HandWiki
UNCOVER is a deep-sky near-infrared survey programme for the James Webb Space Telescope. "UNCOVER" is an involuted acronym which includes portions of the acronyms of its two instruments, NIRSpec and NIRCam, thus: Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam ObserVations before the Epoch of Reionization.[1]
The JWST UNCOVER Treasury Survey saw first light on 2022 November with that of Pandora's Cluster,[2] its current subject,[3][4] and in 2025 imaged the most distant gravitionally lensed black hole found to date: QSO1.[5][6][7]
