Françoise Brauner, born Fritzi Erna Riesel (16 April 1911 - 14 September 2000) was an Austrian-born French pediatrician and child psychiatrist who was part of the medical contingent of International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War[2][3] and was an Austrian Resistance member during Occupied France.<ref name="Resistance">{{Cite journal | last1 = Brauner | first1 = Françoise Erna | title = L'anéantissement de deux réseaux de la résistance | doi = 10.3917/sn.018.0034
