Aechmea paniculigera is a plant species in the genus Aechmea. It grows in Colombia, Venezuela and Jamaica.[1][2][3][4]

Description

Colour photo of a plant with a dozen long pink and green streaked leaves some of them curled almost into pipes, and one central flower spike with many small white flowers.
In flower, with a pool of water trapped at the base of the leaf

The pools of water trapped at the base of its leaves are home to various creatures including young bromeliad crabs and damselflies.[5]
