Allocosa funerea is a species of wolf spider in the family Lycosidae. It is found in the United States,[1][2][3][4] from Texas and Florida north to Kansas, Michigan, and Massachusetts.[4][5] GBIF suggests a wider distribution reaching Canada.[2]

Males measure 3.5–4.9 mm (0.14–0.19 in) and females 4–5.6 mm (0.16–0.22 in) in total length.[4][5]
