Amietia amieti is a species of frog in the family Pyxicephalidae. It was formerly placed in the family Ranidae.
Geographic range
It is endemic to the Pangi Territory of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1]
Etymology
Both the generic name, Amietia, and the specific name, amieti, are in honor of France herpetologist Jean-Louis Amiet.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers.
