Ancyloxypha arene, the tropical least skipper, is a species of grass skipper in the butterfly family Hesperiidae. It is found in Central America and North America.[2][3][4]

Description

The wings are orange. The upperside of the wing has a narrow black border on both wings. The underside of the hindwing is golden orange with a pale ray running from the base through the cell to the outer margin. The wingspan ranges from 3/4 to 1 1/16 inches, or 1.9 to 2.7 centimeters.[5]
