Anematichthys is a monotypic genus[1] of ray-finned fish in the family Cyprinidae containing a single valid species, Anematichthys repasson. It is native to freshwater habitats in Asia: Mekong and Chao Phraya basins, Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java and Borneo.
The species was formerly classified as Cyclocheilichthys.
