Aspergillus foveolatus is a species of fungus in the genus Aspergillus. It is from the Nidulantes section.[2] The species was first described in 1978.[1] It has been isolated from the herbal drug Tribulus terrestris in India.[2] It has been reported to produce asperthecin, dethiosecoemestrin, emestrin, emestrin B, secoemestrin C, secoemestrin D, emericellenes A-E, desferritriacetylfusigen, paxillin, and violaceic acid.[2]
