Aterica galene, the forest glade nymph, is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Africa.[2]

The wingspan is 45–55 mm.

The larvae feed on Combretum, Quisqualis indica, Quisqualis littorea, Terminalia glaucescens and Scottellia
