Austwickia is a genus of bacteria from the family of Dermatophilaceae, which has one known species (Austwickia chelonae).[1][2][3] Austwickia is named after the botanist Peter K.C. Austwick.[1] Austwickia chelonae has been isolated from a snapping turtle from Perth Western in Australia .[4]
