Belonocnema treatae is a species of gall-forming wasp found on the roots of Quercus fusiformis[2],Quercus virginiana and Quercus geminata. [1] It was named in honor of Mary Treat, who first collected galls formed by the species in Green Cove Spring, Florida, in 1881.[1] The species has both sexual and asexual generations. It is native to the Southeastern United States.[3]
