Bittiolum varium, common name the grass cerith, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cerithiidae.[1]
Distribution
Bittiolum varium occurs in shallow waters (0–11 m (0–36 ft) depth) of the Western Atlantic between the East Coast of the United States (Maryland) and Brazil .[2]
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 6.5 mm.[3]

The minimum recorded depth for this species is 0 m; maximum recorded depth is 11 m.[3]
