The blackish pewee (Contopus nigrescens) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Brazil , Ecuador, Guyana, and Peru.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
