Cryptococcus laurentii is a species of yeasts.

It is also a rare human pathogen able to provoke cutaneous condition[7] or fungemia in immunocompromised hosts.[8]

It can also be used as sole source of food for the rearing of Caenorhabditis elegans.[9]
