Dactyloplusia impulsa is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Sri Lanka, India , Southern China , Sundaland, Sulawesi, New Guinea, Fiji and Australia .[1][2]

Description

Wingspan about 30mm. Palpi with short third joint. Hind femur of male not tufted with long hair. Head and thorax fiery orange in color. Abdomen pale. Fore wings rosy greyish with brilliant coppery red patches at end of cell, on inner medial area and at apex. The antemedial line oblique and silvery. The distinct "Y-mark" is small, with tail disconnected from the arms. There are some slightly silvery marks at end of cell. The postmedial line evenly curved and sub-marginal line slightly sinuous. Hind wings pale fuscous.[3]
