File:Wuppertal - Zoo - Dendrochirus biocellatus 01 (0) ies.webm Dendrochirus biocellatus, known commonly as the twospot turkeyfish or ocellated lionfish among other vernacular names, is a species of marine fish in the family Scorpaenidae.[2] The twospot turkeyfish is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific region,[3][4] and it grows up to 13 centimetres (5.1 in) in length.[5][3] In the wild, the species eats small fish as well as shrimp.[3]
In captivity, the fish is somewhat shy.[3] Furthermore, it may hide in crevices during daylight.[3] The species has successfully bred in an aquarium.[3]
