Dicranocaris is an extinct genus of arachnomorph[1][2], possibly a megacheiran , that lived in the Wheeler Shale formation[3] of what is now modern day Utah[2] during Stage 4 of the Cambrian period, around 513 Ma.[1] It may be synonymous with Dytikosicula[4], another possible megacheiran.
The type and only species is Dicranocaris guntherorum.[1][2]
