Helicolenus hilgendorfii is one of ten species of rockfishes in the genus Helicolenus. Known commonly as Hilgendorf's saucord, this fish is found in the Northwest Pacific as far as Japan , where it is known as "nodoguro" (ノドグロ) and southern Korea to the East China Sea.[1] It reaches a maximum length of 27 cm.[1]
Biology
This species is viviparous.[1]
