Hypena masurialis, the grey snout, is a moth of the Noctuidae family described by Achille Guenée in 1854. It has a wide range, including Australia , Fiji, the Cook Islands, Eritrea, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, Yemen,[2] and the Canary Islands.[3]
The wingspan is about 20 mm. Adults have dark brown wings with a diagonal line from near the wingtip to halfway along the rear edge of each forewing.[4]
The larvae feed on Commelina cyanea.
