Metaphya tillyardi is a species of dragonfly in the family Corduliidae,[3] known as an offshore emerald.[4] It has been found on Bramble Cay, near the Papuan coast,[4] and Cape York, northern Australia.[5] Its habitats are unknown.[6]

Metaphya tillyardi is a slim and short-bodied, metallic dragonfly with strong markings.[4]
