Mitragyna ciliata is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae, native to west and west-central tropical Africa.[1] It was first described in 1936.[2]
Phytochemicals
Mitragyna ciliata leaf contains the alkaloids rotundifoline, isorotundifoline, rhynchophylline, isorhynchophylline, ciliaphylline, rhynchociline and mitraciliatine.[3]
