Myrmica americana is a species of ant in the family Myrmicinae.[1][2][3][4][5][6] It can be found in all states in the United States besides Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington (state) . It can also be found in all Canadian provinces besides New Brunswick, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.[7]
