Nassarius speciosus, common name the purple-lipped dogwhelk or the splendid nassa, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Nassariidae, the nassa mud snails or dog whelks.[1]
Description
The length of the shell varies between 20 mm and 30 mm.
Distribution
This marine species occurs off the south coast and the west coast of South Africa .[2]
