Ostorhinchus parvulus, also known as the redspot cardinalfish, is a marine fish in the family Apogonidae.[1][2]
Description
Redspot cardinalfish are semi-transparent with a large pink caudal spot.[3] They reach a maximum size of 4.0 centimeters (1.6 in).[1]
Distribution and habitat
The redspot cardinalfish can be found in groups around current-prone rocky reefs, up to a depth of 12 meters (39 ft).[1]
Reproduction
Redspot cardinalfish are mouthbreeders that form distinct spawning pairs.[1]
