Raorchestes graminirupes is a species of frog in the family Rhacophoridae. It is endemic to the Western Ghats, India . Scientists know it exclusively from the type locality: Palmudi in the Western Ghat mountains, about 1030 meters above sea level.[2][3] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland. It is threatened by habitat loss. Scientists have observed this frog sitting on plants near the ground. The female frog lays eggs in cracks in rocks or near grass.[4]
