Smirnowia is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family, Fabaceae. It contains a single species, Smirnowia turkestana, a perennial shrub native to Afghanistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.[1] It belongs to the subfamily Faboideae.[2][3]
