Stenochoria from (Greek στενοχωρία, stenos narrow + chôra space) may refer to:

  • In Ancient Greek history: Lack of land, one reason for the Greek colonization in Iron Age and Archaic Greece.[1]
  • In Biology and Medicine: Abnormal contraction of a canal or orifice. Stenochoric: having a narrow range of distribution. (see also Stenosis)
  • In the New Testament: distress and difficulty (2Co 12:10, Ro 2:9).
