Tabanus eggeri is a Mediterranean species of biting horse-fly,[3] found in southern France , Italy, Albania, Croatia, Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Portugal and Morocco. There are also unverified accounts of sightings in Spain and Israel.[4][5][6]
