Vansomerenia is a genus of butterflies in the family Lycaenidae. It contains only one species, Vansomerenia rogersi or Rogers’ gem, which is found in central Kenya and northern Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of savanna.
Adults are attracted to flowers.
