Xenomycetes is a genus of handsome fungus beetles in the family Endomychidae.[1][2][3][4][5] It is the only genus in the subfamily Xenomycetinae.[4][6] There are two recognized species in Xenomycetes, both endemic to northwestern North America.[3][4][5]

Ecology
The larvae are mycophagous, with Xenomycetes laversi feeding solely on Paxillus atrotomentosus.[7]
