Xiangella is a Gram-positive, aerobic and non-motile genus of bacteria from the family of Micromonosporaceae with one known species (Xiangella phaseoli).[1][2][3] Xiangella phaseoli has been isolated from the roots of the snap bean Phaseolus vulgaris from Harbin in China .[4][5] Xiangella is named after the Chinese microbiologist Hua Xiang.[1]
