Combining dimensions
From HandWiki
In topology, a mathematical discipline, combining dimensions into a manifold consists of taking n dimensions and visualizing them in a smaller m dimension. Similar concepts apply when studying spacetime and Calabi–Yau manifolds. For example, in string theory, six dimensions are combined into a two dimensional manifold for simple visualization.
