Antenna Software was a mobility solutions provider with headquarters in New Jersey and offices in Guildford, Bangalore, Seoul, Boston, Toronto and Kraków. Founded in 1998, the company was acquired by Pegasystems in 2013.[1][2]

Antenna's core product was the Antenna Mobility Platform (AMP).[3] A later iteration of AMP was branded AMPchroma and launched in February 2012.[4] The platform has been subsequently rebranded to Pega AMP.

History

Antenna was founded in 1998 by Peter Semmelhack.[5] Semmelhack originally titled the company Antenna Tool & Die.[6][7] Semmelhack served as CTO and chairman at the company prior to his departure in April 2006.

In February 2011, Antenna acquired mobile Internet software company Volantis. The acquisition gave Antenna access to carrier and enterprise customers of Volantis and to Volantis' engineering center located in Kraków.[8]

In June 2011, Antenna was featured in Gartner's Visionaries Quadrant for Mobile Consumer Application Platforms.[9][10] That same year, the Antenna Mobility Platform (AMP) won the GSMA Global Mobile Award for Best Mobile Enterprise Solution at the Mobile World Congress.[3]

In October 2013, Antenna Software was acquired by Pegasystems.[11]
