Arrayent, Inc. is an Internet of Things (IoT) platform[1][2] delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.[buzzword] It enables consumer product manufacturers to connect their products with their customers via the Internet.[3]

The company was acquired in July 2017 by Prodea Systems, Inc. which is headquartered in Richardson, Texas. The Arrayent headquarters remains in Redwood City, California acting as Prodea's Silicon Valley development center.[citation needed]

Arrayent has a number of brand manufacturer customers including Whirlpool,[4] Pentair,[5] Osram Sylvania, Salus, Schumacher, Braeburn, Chamberlain Group[6][7] and others. These are now customers of Prodea Systems, Inc.[citation needed]

Platform

The Arrayent IoT Platform is made up of the following components:[8]

  • Embedded software agent library to connect product to the Arrayent cloud
  • Managed cloud software for device connectivity, alerts, and data analytics
  • Toolkits for mobile and web application development

Arrayent's IoT platform is designed for mass market consumer brands that require scalability[9][10] to millions of devices and users, high security,[11][12] and low latency.[13]

Since 2005, Arrayent partnered with several companies including Atmel,[14] Broadcom,[15] Texas Instruments[16]
