Blackview is a China-based[19][20][21] smartphone manufacturer, [22][23][24]headquartered in Hong Kong, [25][26]specializing in producing rugged smartphones, [27][28]affiliated to Shenzhen Doke Electronic Co., Ltd. [29]

History

In March 2013, Blackview was founded by David Xu, [30]the current General Manager and CEO of the company. [31]

In February 2016, Blackview debuted at MWC and released two products, Blackview A8[32] and Blackview Omega Pro.[33]

In February 2017, Blackview BV6000 and BV7000 Pro were released at MWC.[34]

In February 2018, Blackview BV5800 Pro and BV9500 Pro were released at MWC.[35]
