Electrify Canada has some of the fastest charging speeds available today – deploying high-powered chargers capable of delivering up to 350 kilowatts (kW) for capable vehicles.
Electrify Canada DC fast chargers support several connector types, including Combined Charging System (CCS), CHAdeMO, and, by 2025, North American Charging Standard (NACS). Both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors can be found at most Electrify Canada charging stations and are identified by the teal, green, and blue labels on their chargers. Green Hyper-Fast labels indicate CCS connectors delivering up to 350 kW, teal Ultra-Fast labels indicate CCS connectors delivering up to 150 kW, and blue CHADEMO labels indicate the charger is equipped with a CHAdeMO connector, capable of delivering up to 50 kW. Select Electrify Canada stations feature J1772 Level 2 Chargers. Because of this, Electrify Canada chargers are compatible with almost every EV model available on the road today. A vehicle’s connector type and maximum charging speed are determined by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
