iFit is an Internet connected and interactive fitness platform that brings together fitness activities that take place in the home, the gym, and outside, all with a single login and device.[1] This product provides maps, visualization, and workouts for those working out on iFit enabled equipment. The level up version of iFit connected fitness offers true interactivity with iFit interactive technology controlling the speed, incline, decline, resistance and program length of workouts remotely, then uploads results at end of the workout to track workout results and progress at iFit.com.

In addition to tracking daily activities likes sleep, calories consumed, steps taken, and distance traveled, the iFit can also measure your diet and exercise.[2] The technology is built into many exercise hardware products through a wireless connection to stationary bicycles, ellipticals and treadmills from ProForm, FreeMotion and NordicTrack to measure and track workouts at home or the gym.

Technology

The iFit technology also connects to Google Maps, personal fitness training programs, and weekly motivational competitions with other iFit users. The current training programs are led by Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Jillian Michaels.

iFit lets consumers use Google Street View to emulate the experience of a real-world fitness activity using a map drawn on the iFit site.[3] As an example, an owner of an indoor cycling bike could map out the Tour de France stages and ride along the course with the machine automatically adjusting the incline and decline to match the terrain mapped.[4]

iFit products are available worldwide in retail stores, exercise equipment stores, online, and through their official website.

Wearables

iFit is also a brand offers a full line of fitness wearables, similar to Fitbit, Jawbone, and for their units with GPS capabilities, such as Garmin, users can convert their outdoor workouts to indoor workouts for fitness equipment.

The iFit is compatible with Android and iOS devices.[1][5]
