Vtiger is an open-source and cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) software developed by the Indian software company Vtiger, founded in 2004.[1][2][3]
The software provides businesses with tools for sales automation, customer support, marketing automation, project management, inventory/products and billing.[4][5][6]
History
Vtiger originated as a fork of SugarCRM,[7][8] and was launched by AdventNet (now known as Zoho Corporation).[9][10][11]
Products
In 2010, the company introduced a cloud-based version of Vtiger CRM.[12][13]
Vtiger released version 6 of its open source in 2014.[14] In 2017, Version 7 of its open-source CRM was released. Version 9 of its cloud CRM offering was released in 2020.[15][16]Template:Non primary source needed
