Eigenoperator

In mathematics, an eigenoperator, A, of a matrix H is a linear operator such that

[math]\displaystyle{ [H,A] = \lambda A \, }[/math]

where [math]\displaystyle{ \lambda }[/math] is a corresponding scalar called an eigenvalue.[1]
