The Journal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Physics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing research on all aspects of physics and physical chemistry of polymers, including theory and experimental behavior of polymeric solutions, blends, liquid crystals, networks, membranes, biological polymers and interfaces. The journal offers free online access to the full-text content of all review-type articles.[1] The journal is published by John Wiley & Sons . It was established in 1946 by Paul M. Doty, Herman F. Mark, and C. C. Price as Journal of Polymer Science and was later split in two series (in 1966), the other one being the Journal of Polymer Science Part A.
In 2010 the journal moved to an internal editorial office model, in which a permanent team of full-time, professional editors with advanced scientific degrees and peer-review expertise, rather than part-time employed academics, is responsible of the article scrutiny and the editorial content. The current managing editor is Victoria Cleave.[2]
