These components and systems can be used individually, or in collaboration with others.
History
Acho Inc, a startup based in Boston, was founded by Vincent Jiang in 2020. The founders were invited to Y Combinator in the summer of 2020. The company participated the incubator's first remote demo day in August.[1] In May 2020, the software released its first public beta on Product Hunt. [2] In August 2020, the company launched its first product called Acho Studio.
In August 2021, the company received $2.2 million in seed money from Goat Capital, with Liquid2 Venture, Capital X and other angel investors participating. [3]
Software
Acho is a collaboration platform. The company claims to be an all-in-one workspace for data integration, data management and data analytics. The software is described as a file management tool offering a unified workspace, allowing data analysts to build databases [4], comment on ongoing projects, to participate in discussions and share data assets within a team.
Pricing
Acho has a three-tiered subscription model: free, standard, and pro.[5] Each plan comes with a different usage limit. Users will not be charged if they have not reached the free plan's limit. The paid plan comes with a higher usage limit at a flat price. An overage fee may apply if usage exceeds the plan's limit. [6]
Integrations
Acho allows users to connect to Salesforce, Hubspot, Tableau, Excel, Shopify, Zendesk and other business applications. By February 2022, there were 50 application, database integrations that users can connect with the app.
API
Acho provides an application programming interface (API) for users to create applications and automate processes, such as sending automatic data records to other web apps and dashboards.
Business model
Acho relies on a free trial model for customers that need database management. In 2021, the product was used by over 5000 users from 300 organizations.
