Triethyltin (TET) is an organometallic compound formed by three ethyl groups attached to a tin atom, giving a molecular formula C6H15Sn.[1] It is highly toxic. Exposure can cause cerebral edema, along with nausea, vomiting, headache, loss of consciousness, and in sufficiently high doses death.[2]
