Alces carnutorum, also called carnute elk, is an extinct species of large moose that lived in Europe during the Early Pleistocene.
Fragments were found in the site of Saint-Prest, near Chartres,[1] and described by Laugel in 1862. The taxon features a size comprised between Alces gallicus and Alces giganteus.
