Erythrolamprus festae, also known commonly as the drab ground snake, is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species is native to northwestern South America.
Etymology
The specific name, festae, is in honor of Italian zoologist Enrico Festa.[2]
Geographic range
E. festae is found in Ecuador and Peru.[1]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of E. festae is forest, at altitudes of 600–1,680 m (1,970–5,510 ft).[3]
