Leptolalax arayai is a frog species in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to Sabah, Malaysia. In addition to its type locality, Mount Kinabalu, it is known from Mount Trusmadi, Crocker Range, and Mendolog.[3] Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests, moist montane forests, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]

Among Leptolalax, Leptolalax arayai is among the larger species, the holotype (adult male) measuring 30 mm (1.2 in) in snout-vent length.[2]
