Mycena renati, commonly known as the beautiful bonnet,[1] is a species of mushroom in the family Mycenaceae. It was described by French mycologist Lucien Quélet in 1886.[2] It has been collected in Austria,[3] Uşak Province in Western Turkey,[4] and Yugoslavia.[5]

Description

The cap is initially conic or parabolic, but expands somewhat in maturity to become convex, and typically reaches dimensions of up to 3.2 cm (1.3 in).[6]
