Plectorhinchus picus, the painted sweetlips, is a species of grunt native to coral reefs of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean at depths of 3 to 50 m (9.8 to 164.0 ft). This species can reach 84 cm (33 in) in TL. It is a commercially important species and can be found in the aquarium trade.[1]
