Temnocora candida, the Bigeye snailfish, is a species of snailfish native to the far northern Pacific Ocean where it is found at depths of from 64 to 400 metres (210 to 1,312 ft). This species grows to a length of 10.6 centimetres (4.2 in) SL. This species is the only known member of its genus.[1] The Bigeye snailfish is usually found around sand, pebbles, and rocky bottoms. It is also harmless to humans. [1]
