Celoxis Technologies is a privately held company based in Pune, India, and the first Indian company to offer Software as a Service (SaaS)[1][2] through their web-based multilingual[3] project management software with On-Premise deployment, Celoxis.[1][4] Since its launch in 2001, Celoxis has consistently been one of the top-ranked project management platforms[5][6] used by over 2,000 companies globally with 112,000 active users.[2]
History
Celoxis Technologies was founded by Nikhil Daddikar and Ravindra Wankar in 2001. The pair recognized the importance of On-Premise deployment and created a web-based project management software that supported both the SaaS and On-Premise platforms.[4] In 2001, they launched under the name “Celoxis”, supporting multiple browsers, databases, and operating systems.[1][2] Celoxis became profitable within its first year[2] and quickly grew into one of the most popular project management software for mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies.[6]
Software/Tool
Celoxis is used to create project plans which are utilized to manage projects and employees. Celoxis supports project managers through customizable scheduling and enhanced resource allocation. [7][8] The software expedites project management through prebuilt reporting options and customizable dashboards, which can be integrated with third-party applications.[3]
The software allows for custom-built workflows, called “apps”, tailored to a client's specific needs.[9][10]
In 2016, Celoxis Technologies improved the visual experience of its software with customizable and interactive graphs.[11] Around the same time, Celoxis also developed a real-time reporting system that was client-centric to improve collaboration among project stakeholders.[6] Celoxis improved their Gantt chart technology allowing them to process up to 10,000 tasks simultaneously.[12]
