History

Degica was founded on June 13, 2005 by Jack Momose, and is located in Kichijoji, Tokyo. Degica has a broad eCommerce offer, with a focus on video gaming and digital solutions.

In August 2015, Degica announced the launch of Komoju, a new payment platform. Japan has a diverse payments landscape, where Credit Cards are not the main option for online purchases. The local payment options include prepaid cards such as Webmoney, cash payments through convenience store chains Konbini and payments by bank transfer.

The company is been working with multiple gaming and digital partners, such as Valve Corporation, Blizzard Entertainment, Razer Inc., and AVG Technologies.[citation needed]
